You can know your material and still walk into an audition wondering whether the panel will see the real you. This workshop is for actors who want a clear, grounded way to prepare—whether you are returning to auditioning, facing general auditions for the first time, or ready to feel more confident in the room.
Together, we will move beyond simply “getting it right” and focus on the choices that help your work feel specific, connected, and distinctly yours.

Your guide
Meet Cyndi Thomsen
Cyndi is a storyteller, theatre director, coach, and longtime performer who has worked on stage, television, and film since 1971. For more than 25 years, she has directed, taught, and mentored actors and creative artists—helping them refine their craft, trust their voice, and bring meaningful stories to life.
Her approach brings together practical preparation, honest storytelling, and grounded presence so actors can enter the room with greater clarity and confidence.
